This blog seems to be turning into a Formula 1 one now – oh well. If you caught the Canadian Grand Prix today you’ll understand why I want to talk about it. It was simply one of the best races I’ve ever seen, despite most of it being stopped on the grid. I’m not going to go through the whole race in detail, as it was officially the longest race ever. I’m just going to pick out a few of my favourite parts.
It’s been a while, in fact a very long while, since I last made a post on my blog, so I thought it time to make another. As I’ve mentioned before I am a great fan of Formula 1, so I’ve been watching the first 5 Grand Prix of this 2011 season very closely and have developed some opinions in multiple areas of the sport.
Formula One managers have today announced that the sport will be broadcast in HD from the beginning of the 2011 season. They’ve said all broadcasters will receive an HD feed starting from March when the season begins at the prestigious Bahrain International Circuit. They’ve said this will include all practice sessions and any official support coverage for all 20 Grand Prix’s.
